Duck tape can not fix stupid but it can muffle the sound.

Yupp...it's a plate of dead flowers...I'm trying to understand what art is...
I think I understand the difference between Irish and Scottish...the Scots have taken to filling their potholes with porridge in protest for the obvious need to fill their potholes...I can't see the Irish doing that but I'll have to think about what is Irish!

I don't want to be the puppet master.
I don't want to be the puppet.
I just want to be a participant.

I've tried to fix this blog...but it won't be fixed!

On teaching…the job seems to require the sort of skills one would need to pilot a bus full of live chickens backwards, with no brakes, down a rocky road through the Andes while simultaneously providing colorful and informative commentary on the scenery.

I've often thought that there was a no-brainer element in photography...How could one not succeed with a tree such as this one!

So what is art? Can art be fun to make or does one have to suffer? Too much deep thinking for a Sunday morning from someone who is trying to revive her blog...and is much to her disappointment finding that Pinterest has become vapid...they're sending me recipes for goodness sake.

I have no idea where this came from but I also don't want to die out again:

Or

I should really have a data base of photos...just so that I don't repeat myself...but...I don't.

I have been reminded of two Biblical stories in the past week...one the story Job with whom I identify even though I don't approve of the outcome and the other of Mary and Martha. Martha worked to prepare food whilst Mary sat at the feet of Jesus. Now...it just depends on how often Mary sat at the feet of Jesus and whether or not she ever helped out in the kitchen...but I identify with Martha. Someone has to wash the dishes...metaphorically speaking!
