Oooops - a very big gap! I'm sorry...I found the following note:

Dear Mach,
I want my comp with the gum on it!

Sorry, kid, I kept the note...but not the comp...but I have your pencil!

    That provides me with a very good laugh on a day I've been home, sick! I even remember writing that note to you. Better still, I even remember handing in the piece of paper on which gum found on the underside of my desk was affixed. I seem to remember you being not particularly thrilled with having a sticky piece of paper handed in among the other students' weekly submissions.
